The winning chef is named in the Season 4 finale. Before that, the final two culinarians battle it out by creating a dish with the help of staffers from their own restaurants back home.
The chefs participate in an underground dining event by creating an epic picnic-style meal featuring plentiful ingredients.
The contestants must put on a Japanese-style culinary show in front of fellow chefs, judges and critics. Guest judges include Olympic skater Brian Boitano and foodies Mary Sue Milliken, Susan Feniger, Rick Moonen and Jonathan Waxman.
The meal mavens prepare cuisine for a wedding.
